Four Local Teams in State Soccer Semis

 

Elder, St. Ursula, Madeira, Badin in action this week

Four local teams will be going for state soccer titles this week starting with Elder tonight in a Division I semifinal contest against Hilliard Davidson at Cedarville University at 7 p.m.

 

The Panthers (18-3-0) come into its game against the Wildcats riding an eight-game winning streak.  They defeated previously unbeaten Mason, ranked No. 3 in the state and top-ranked Beavercreek to advance to the semifinals.

 

In girls’ Division I, St. Ursula (18-1-2) takes on Hilliard Davidson on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Clayton Northmont High School.  The Bulldogs defeated Girls Greater Catholic League foe Ursuline in overtime to advance.
 

Madeira (18-2-2) plays Badin (15-5) in a girls’ Division II contest on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Mason High School.  The Rams will be going for their third straight state title game appearance.

 

BOYS' DIVISION I

At Solon High School, Today, 7 p.m.

Sylvania Northview (20-3-0) vs. Mentor (14-5-2).

At Cedarville University, Today, 7 p.m.

Elder (18-3-0) vs. Hilliard Davidson (16-2-2).

State championship

At Columbus Crew Stadium, Friday, 7 p.m.

 

GIRLS' DIVISION I

At Solon High School, Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Strongsville (17-0-4) vs. Cuya. Falls Walsh Jesuit (13-3-5).

At Clayton Northmont High School, Wednesday, 7 p.m.

St. Ursula (18-1-2) vs. Hilliard Davidson (13-4-4).

At Columbus Crew Stadium, Saturday, 7 p.m.

 

DIVISION II

At Ashland Community Soccer Stadium, Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Akr. Hoban (15-3-1) vs. Shaker Hts. Hathaway Brown (17-3-1).

At Mason High School, Wednesday, 7 p.m.

Madeira (18-2-2) vs. Badin (15-5)
