Two area girls’ soccer
coaches recently captured their 100th wins.
Taylor's Tim “Tate” Harvey won his 100th game
with a 2-1 victory over Wyoming last week. At the time of
the win, Harvey’s career record was 100-57-23. He coached
at Seton in 1994 and 1995 when he went 22-12-4. Harvey
started at Taylor in 1999 and as of last week was 77-45-19
with the Yellowjackets. Taylor is in first place in the
Cincinnati Hills League and has a 5-0 record, including
1-0 in the division. Taylor plays at Reading at 7 p.m.
today (Wednesday) and hosts Lawrenceburg at 7 p.m.
Thursday.
With a shutout win over
Amelia, Loveland's Todd Kelly recorded his 100th
win. Kelly’s record was 100-48-28 at the time. He is in
his 11th season as Loveland’s coach. Loveland
(3-0-1) is in first place in the Fort Ancient Valley
Conference Buckeye division and hosts Kings at 7 p.m.
