Three Cincinnati Teams In ESPN Super 25 Poll

Three Cincinnati football teams are ranked in this week's ESPN Super 25 high school poll released today.

St. Xavier leads the way at No. 4 followed by Colerain (No. 12) and Elder (No. 20).

The Bombers (3-0) already own two impressive wins over nationally ranked DeMatha (Md.) and Cleveland Glenville and can further pad their resume on Friday night against Kentucky Class 6A powerhouse Louisville Trinity.

Colerain's biggest win to date is against then-nationally ranked Hoover (Ala.) in week 2.  The Cardinals (3-0) have the easiest go of it this week among the three ranked teams with a game against winless Mason (0-3) team.

Elder (3-0) is coming off a close 21-16 win over neighborhood rival Oak Hills but owns huge 41-34 OT win over No. 22 Independence (Charlotte).  The Panthers will be challenged again this week by a strong Cincinnati La Salle team on the road.
