John, a senior quarterback who entered the game completing only 50-percent of his passes, connected on 13-of-19 passes (68.4-percent) for 158 yards and a touchdown.  Wirtz was 6-of-7 for 92 yards in the first half, completing his first five passes as Wyoming jumped out to a 14-0 lead.  Wirtz spread the ball around, completing passes to six different receivers, and also ran for 25 yards.
